Call for papers

The conference “Caucasian linguistics: recent advances and emerging topics” will take place in Lyon, France from June 11 to 13, 2025.

This conference aims to bring together scholars working on the languages spoken in the Caucasus in order to foster transnational collaborations and cross-team intellectual exchange. We invite submissions from all sub-fields of linguistics (phonetics, morphology, syntax, sociolinguistics, etc), different approaches (descriptive, theoretical, typological, interdisciplinary, etc.), diachronic or synchronic, in order to promote diversity across disciplines and methodologies. Besides, studies on languages from all families represented in the Caucasus are equally encouraged. The language of the conference is English. We particularly encourage submissions from graduate students and junior researchers, who we can offer financial support if their submission is accepted.
